Fully equipped oil container featuring NEX·U·®

When Tess AS set out to develop a rental solution for lubricants and fluids, the ambition was clear: maximum safety, easy handling, and intelligent control. The result was a purpose-built container where functionality and environmental care take centre stage, developed together with Smøreteknikk and Eurolube.

Inside, the container houses a complete setup for oil, grease, chemicals, washer fluid, and waste oil. Four oil pumps, one for grease, one for chemicals, and one for waste oil ensure that every task can be handled efficiently, regardless of application.

Smooth operation and complete oversight

At the heart of the solution is the NEX·U·® Fluid Management System – the brain that keeps track of every drop consumed. Each litre is automatically recorded, giving the user full control while eliminating unnecessary waste. This not only improves efficiency but also makes every day work easier for those operating the container.

Built-in safety by design

The container is designed to operate safely even in demanding environments. The system is pressureless when idle, and sensors continuously monitor fluid levels in both drums and waste oil tanks. A dry-run protection automatically stops pumping at low volumes, and an overfill safeguard minimises the risk of spills.

These are details that may go unnoticed in daily use but make all the difference if something unexpected happens.


Ready for the future

The solution can easily be expanded as needed, and with NEX·U·® it is possible to integrate the system with business software for automatic transaction handling. This means the entire workflow – from use to invoicing – can take place without manual steps.

The project was carried out in close collaboration between Tess AS (Rental), Smøreteknikk, and Eurolube. The combination of Tess’s extensive experience and Eurolube’s system expertise made it possible to create more than just an oil container – a complete, connected solution that unites safety, efficiency, and environmental awareness.
